About

I’m Debbie Coleman, the button lady! I was in a pretty devastating automobile accident a little over a year ago, and since that day, my life has not been the same. That incident, along with my creative spirit, has played a huge part in starting my button business. Over the last decade, I’ve been absolutely fascinated by vintage/antique buttons. The amazing colors, workmanship, design, and carvings really draw me in. Whether, I’m digging through buttons at a shop in Istanbul, Turkey, in a precious Afghan family’s fabric shop, or simply at an antique or thrift store, I could honestly search for hours, and my creative juices start to flow! I love taking what might be thrown away, tossed aside, put in a drawer, or considered useless, and creating something beautiful out of it.  I could literally look at buttons for hours and not be bored.  I’m particularly interested in antique or vintage buttons, which are used in most of my creations. These buttons are miniature works of art. God has given me so many ways to bless others through my love of buttons, and this blog serves as one way for me to do just that! You will see that I have all kinds of jewelry pieces, canvas art, helpful office accessories, home décor, and more. Great for brightening up your home, office, a special, unique gift for any occasion. (If you find something that stands out, or you have questions, simply go to the contact page, and let me know you’re interested in making a purchase!)

“God doesn’t even use us unless and until we are broken.  He chooses ‘what is low and despised in the world, even things that are nothing, to bring to nothing things that are considered important’ (I Cor. 1:28).  What the world throws away God ‘redeems’ and recovers so He can make something beautiful and valuable out of it.  It is not beautiful and valuable of itself.  However, when God ‘cleanses’ it, restores it, and puts it in a new ‘frame or setting’, He imparts a creative beauty to it and gives it value because He has chosen it, cleansed it, and created it anew.”
